Once across the lava river, the player can proceed north through the doorway to enter the first level of the dungeon. After the player completes the dungeon, a parrot offers to build a permanent bridge in exchange for 5 Golden Walnuts.

The path remains for the length of the day, but disappears every night. A steel (or higher) watering can is able to cover 5 squares in line, enough to build a bridge with a single tool use. To cross the lava river and enter the dungeon, pour water on it with the watering can, creating a pathway to walk on. On its east side is a gate, initially locked, with a button on the floor to the south through the gate, out of reach. On the west side of the entryway is a pool of water.

The dungeon consists of ten levels through which the player must proceed in sequence to reach the Forge, thereby 'completing' the dungeon.Įntering the cave, the player faces a lava river, across which lies the Volcano Dungeon.

The toxic trails of Poisbulons and Poisbulins can poison other enemies as well as the player.The Volcano Dungeon is located inside the volcano at the north end of Ginger Island, accessed through a large cave on the south side of the volcano.Unlike their Enter the Gungeon counterparts, who split into a Poisbuloid, which then splits into two Poisbulins, Poisbulons in Exit the Gungeon skip the Poisbuloid stage and split directly into two Poisbulons.Unlike their Blobulonian kin, Poisbulons turn back upon reaching a ledge.In addition to this, they also leave a toxic trail in their wake, rendering any place where they have recently been unsafe to stand. They slide back and forth across their platforms, dealing contact damage to any unfortunate enough to get in their way. Poisbulons are a variant of the regular Blobulon that appear later into Exit the Gungeon runs, typically showing up around the Gungeon Proper. The Blobulonian Empire is not a signatory of the Guneva Convention, and is not bound by the traditional restrictions on chemical weapons. Poisbulons represent a terrifying advancement in Blobulonian warfare, leaving a toxic trail in their wake. Blobulons do not seem to detect ledges, and as such will leap gleefully to their deaths upon reaching the edge of a platform.Unlike their Enter the Gungeon counterparts, who split into two Blobuloids, which then split further into Blobulins, Blobulons in Exit the Gungeon split directly into Blobulins.They do not seem to actively target the player, though with their movement patterns, an unwary player is likely to be caught out by their contact damage regardless.īlobulons split into two Blobulins upon death.
